We offer a variety of  learning and spiritual growth opportunities in these smaller group settings.  Many venus are interspersed throughout the year on Sundays and during the week.

Small groups:

Tuesday Small Group: will take a break during the holidays.  On Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 4:00 PM they will reconvene to study Hebrews using Max Lucado's Life Lessons study guide with our Bibles.  All are welcome.  If you have questions you may call our church office at 269-857-1492 or email nancy.nauta@ccofdouglas.org.

Sisters Discussion Group: meets Thursdays, 12:30-1:45 PM, in our church Library.  Sisters is beginning a discussion of the Beatitudes from Jesus' Sermont on the Mount (Matthew 5).  We will be using the book, The Applause of Heaven by Max Lucado.   All ladies are welcome to join this group.  Books may be purchased at class. Led by Lois Miller. 

Men’s Bible Discussion Group: meets Thursdays, 12:30-1:45 PM, in our Conference Room.  Join Pastor Dan as we explore the Bible passage that will be the basis for next Sunday’s sermon.

Couples Discussion Group: Meets at 6:30-8:30 PM at various homes on the third Sunday of the month for fellowship and dessert.   Call Charlie or Edith Hancock at 269-543-4397.

New Educational and Small Group Opportunities:

Apprentice Series

The Apprentice Series, a 34 session series, hosted by Pastor Bob, will be held with classes on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30PM beginning September 6.  We will work our way through through 3 books by James Bryan Smith; The Good and Beautiful God, The Good and Beautiful Life, and The Good and Beautiful Community.  We are currently beginning book two, The Good and Beautiful Life.

Truth Project

The Truth Project will take place on Thursday evenings starting September 8, from 7:00-8:30PM.  This is a 13 session DVD series meeting in our Genesis Room with Pastor Bob.  Each lesson takes us on a tour of our world and discusses the relevane and importance of living with a Christian worldview in our daily lives.  .
